Donation Refund Policy – Maaya Anubhuti Foundation

1. General Principles
   All donations received support our elderly-care and community programmes. As a rule, donations are non-refundable. However, we do consider genuine refund requests for issues such as duplicate transactions or proven technical errors.
2. When a Refund May Be Issued
   Refunds are considered only in these situations:

• Duplicate transaction (same amount debited twice)
• Technical/payment gateway error causing deduction but no receipt
• Recognized bank error (on evidence from payer/gateway)
  Refunds are not possible for a change of mind after a successful donation, or where the donation is already allocated and/or officially receipted.

3. Time Limit for Requests
   Refund requests must be received within 15 days of the donation. Requests after this period may not be accepted.
4. How to Request a Refund
   Email us with:

• Full name and phone number used in donation
• Date, amount, and payment mode
• Transaction/Donation ID and reference (if available)
• Screenshot or bank statement confirming the debit

5. Review and Processing Timeline

• We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
• Review and resolution typically within 7 working days after receiving all details.
• Approved refunds are reversed only to the original payment method. We cannot refund in cash or to any alternate account.
• Bank/payment gateway timelines apply (typically 7–15 business days for funds to appear).

6. Refund Amount
   Refunds—if approved—are made net of payment gateway charges, bank charges, and/or non-recoverable taxes. Only the amount actually received by us can be reversed.
7. 80G Receipts and Compliance
   If an 80G receipt or statutory form (e.g., 10BD/10BE) has already been issued or filed, refunds will not be possible unless it can be shown to be a duplicate/technical error and legal reversal is permitted.
   Used tax receipts must not be presented to tax authorities.
8. Recurring / Monthly Donations
   To cancel a recurring donation, email us at least 5 business days before your next scheduled charge. Charges already processed will follow this policy.
9. Disputes and Jurisdiction
   Any disputes regarding this policy are subject to Delhi NCR, India jurisdiction.
10. Policy Revision & Updates
    Maaya Anubhuti Foundation reserves the right to change this policy at any time. The latest version shall always appear on our website.
