About Maaya Anubhuti Foundation
Towards Dignity, Health, and Meaningful Aging in India
Maaya Anubhuti Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit organization based in Delhi-NCR, dedicated to redefining aging in India through dignified eldercare, youth empowerment, and intergenerational connection.

Inspired by the life and vision of Maya Rani (1946–2024)—a lifelong educator and advocate for dignified aging—and founded by Dr. Akshay Bahadur, a senior laparoscopic surgeon with over 30 years of experience, we champion programs that cherish seniors, empower caregivers, and inspire society to value every stage of life.
Our Vision

At Maaya Anubhuti Foundation, our vision is to redefine aging in India—so every elder finds dignity, comfort, and community, and every youth finds purpose through caring. We champion programs that cherish seniors, empower caregivers, and inspire society to value every stage of life.
